SUMMARY OF BUDGET PROPOSALS
The Special Committee on Youth Program recommends:
That an Office of Youth Programs, with the position of Associate Director for Youth Programs, be established.
Budget:
That a Youth Adult Committee with specific functions and responsibilities for high school age programming be established and funded.
Budget:
That there be an allocation for specific functions of the Liberal Religious Youth, with a contract for goals and evaluation between LRY and YAC devised.
Budget for allocation:
That the UUA Board of Trustees recommend the establishment by all UUA Districts of District Youth Activities Committees.
That Youth Program Field Work Teams be established.
That an intergenerational dialogue be conducted in the year 1978-79 at the local and district level to establish the basis for denominational youth programing.
That in the year 1979-80 there be an intergenerational dialogue at the continental level to serve as the culmination of local and district dialogues.
Budget for fiscal 79-80:
That other recommendations included in the report be forwarded to the appropriate agencies or departments of the UUA by the UUA Board of Trustees.
